Recently, I started writing gratitude letters to my coworkers, a full page each, signed "Anonymous Grateful Co-Worker." Some ended up on a "Positivity Tea" wall in our hallway. Those letters taught me that gratitude for ordinary things opens our eyes to the extraordinary, and that's where God is.
I haven't always been close to him. I grew up confused about my faith, drifted away in my twenties, and spent years as a new-age seeker. Around 33, God came for me. Today I pray the rosary daily, and I'm on fire for Jesus.
